alpha-linux xrosscompiler on HEAD?

Where do I have to place them? I've build (via scripts) a number of
cross compilers (-> trying to get my mixture of sparc32, m68k, alpha,
hppa, ... to run:-) and all cross compilers compiled just fine. Only
alpha broke with those missing include files. I've even diff'ed out the
./configure logs, but I can't see that anything is different for an
alpha cross-compiler. So there seems to be no ./configure check for
needed additional header files. But where do I need to place them?
