Complete AST ??

Hi,
   In tree-dump.c file of GCC dump_node() function  is defined. And this 
dump_node() function is called from c-objc-common.c file.
Again while dump_node() is called from c-objc-common.c file, getdecls() 
function is invoked and passed as one of its argument.
Can I assume that whatever getdecls() function is getting in form of ASTree, 
that tree contains all the information of source program ??
