query about integrating a front-end to GCC back-end

Hello,

 We want to interface a front end which takes input a prefix form
( of any C program) to GCC back-end.
  
[1] Is it possible to implement ?
 
[2] Can we begin like it is done in case of integrating FLIM(Flexible
    Language For Integer Manipulation) ?
