On the contrary - this is the most common arrangement for contributors
outside of ACT trying to build the Ada compiler; and it worked just
fine until the recent merge.
However, all of this is a big fat red herring. I see the EXACT SAME
CRASH if I build everything with 3.14 and its bundled C compiler.
It's not a linkage problem at all.
