Ack! ./config doesn't create Makefiles...

For some reason, when configuring gcc 3.0.3 for compilation, configure
creates zero-length Makefiles in the gcc/ directory. I've searched, and
searched, and searched, but can't find info about this kind of problem
anywhere. Can you point me in the right direction?

I'm running Solaris 8 with automake 1.5 and autoconf 2.52 (precompiled
packages from www.sunfreeware.com).

Thanks in advance,

Scott
