This looks okay to me.  I can't approve it, though.  To get it in, you
should follow the instructions at http://gcc.gnu.org/contribute.html.
For a patch like this, a nonfunctional C++ compiler is not a problem
(it's clearly unrelated to problems affecting only C++).
