I'm not sure.

The principal improvement will be that we will (hopefully) improve
correctness.  There are certain areas of the C++ language that YACC
is simply incapable of handling easily.

As a side benefit, the code in the C++ front end will become simpler,
even in areas outside the parser.  There is lots of code whose sole
purpose is to recover from things that the parser cannot get right.

Down the road, there are other potential improvements, including better
error-recovery and possibly improved compile-times.  Those, however,
are not objectives of the current effort -- although we will be making
measurements and trying hard to make sure that the new parser doesn't
make the compiler slower.
