	I am not sure what you mean.  I do not see any other recent
changes to alias.c.  Is it a proposed but not yet committed patch from
Richard?

	I was able to catch the bug at stage2 cc1.  I bootstrapped GCC
with and without your commit.  Up through Daniel Berlin's Makefile
dependence fix things work.  With just your patch in addition, stage2 cc1
ICEs.
