For 32-bit, the bundled HP compiler is sufficient. For 64-bit, the
unbundled compiler is currently required. The exact cause of the
problem in building a 64-bit target with the bundled compiler
hasn't been fully debugged although I think it has to do with using
enums as array indexes.
I'm not against binaries and they are currently more or less necessary
to bootstrap with ada. I don't think anybody has built ada for a
64-bit hpux11 target because of the complex bootstrap issues.
Personally, I feel that not a lot will be gained by converting.
