Working on it already.  :-)

What I plan is to use template-based policy classes, a la Alexandrescu.
I'm seriously thinking of branching stl_alloc.h, because every time we
make, say, a formatting change, I get conflicts.  (Since I'm the cause of
most of the formatting changes, I can't complain.)  Either that or I need
a better working-directory scheme...
