Linux newbee

Linux Guru,
My name is Kent and I work for a small software company in the Boston
Area(near Chinatown).  We have a small program that was developed in Windows
C++ that communicates though a Serial port.  We are now required to compile
the code in C and test it on Linux.  Although for us this is easier said
than done.  We currently do not have the in-house Linux skills to
troubleshoot the Serial port issues that we have encountered while testing
on Linux.   So I guess what I'm asking is.....do you have a Linux Guru in
your office(Boston) that wouldn't mind spending a lunch hour with us to
educate us on the Linux OS.  We can buy Pizza(aren't you Linux guys all
about the pizza?).  I realize that this is a strange request and I won't be
offended it you decline our invitation.  I look forward to your reply.
