OK but there must be some gneric set of functions
and constants that are present in curses.h, that must
           be common for every configuration.

And at this stage when I am exploring GNU G++ I am not worried about
           compliance.

I want a link address or a URL where I can get the generic
header files that come along with the Linux C++ compilers
and the generic set of functions and constants available within
           these generic header files.

In Turbo C++ package for DOS the list of header files and their
contents are easily available using an in-built help. But I did
not get any such in-built help, displaying the contents of G++ header
           files.

To recollect I am using egcs-2.19.66 on RedHat Linux 6.0

I dont understand what you mean by this. If you meant I should check
the GCC manuals then I did so but I did not get any such list of generic
           header files.
