SPEC 2004 submission and GCC project

Sorry, I didn't know about the past discussion, I'll send something to RMS.

If by any chance RMS changes his mind here, are GCC people (SC & others) 
in favor
of going forward on such project: commenting/contributing on our
code proposal if get my management approval for the process and donation?
