Please don't sent threatening legalese to the gcc list (was Re: ia64)

In my opinion, there is absolutely no legal liability to the gcc list here.
It is well known to everyone that the "entity to which it is addressed"
here is an internet email group that goes to hundreds of thousands of
people everywhere, so obviously the person transmitting the message intended
this distribution, and we have no obligation to prevent it, since there is
nothing to prevent.

That being said, it is completely absurd to attach such notes to messages
sent to mailing lists, and represents lawyers going silly on us. It is also,
as Joe says, bad manners, we don't want to see this junk in our mail boxes
so get a decent email account.

Joe, I don't think you need to ban companies doing this for legal reasons,
but I an completely sympathetic if you ban them anyway for bad manners :-)
