GCC-3.0.4 (pre) on AIX requires pthreads

No, I configured it with --enable-languages=c++ and --prefix, nothing more.

According to the documentation:
"In general, the best ... threading model available will be configured for
use. "
No word about having to use "--enable-threads". Even the
"--enable-threads=lib" section does not hint anything about
single threaded mode (which is all I need for now). All it says is
that if I want to use threading, I can choose between several models.


So, should I configure --enable-threads? And if so this is a regression of
the documentation from gcc-2.95 ;-).
