Should _GNU_SOURCE be defined always?

Ah, ok.  You're right - _GNU_SOURCE is defined as of 3.0
(not in 2.96 or 2.95.x).

Nevertheless, my question: Can I count on it that will
stay defined in all future versions of gcc?
