Add a new language to GCC

[Manjunath Gopadi]

Hi,
I want to add a compiler for a proprietory language. I went thru the manual 
of GCC. I am not clear as to what modifications I ned to do and where should 
i do those modifications? If i could know the why part also it would be 
great.
Can anybody help me in this?
