What's going on with the "Bounded pointers" project?

Hi,

Are people still working/interested in the bounded pointers project as
described on http://gcc.gnu.org/projects/bp/main.html? The last change to
those pages where two years ago (except for some changes almost a year ago
to make the page XHTML compliant). Doesn't libmudflap provide a better
(lang. independent) framework for bounds checking?
