C++ ABI testing issues, gcc-3.3 <-> gcc-3.2 compatibility

Bear in mind, I thought the only reason to do a 3.2 release is so that 
3.3 can be compatible with it.  If it isn't then is there _any_ reason 
to do a 3.2 release?
