I don't recall seeing objections; have you now raised this with the SC?
If we get an SC decision in time, the deprecation warning ("-traditional
is deprecated and will be removed in GCC 3.2") when -traditional is passed
to cc1 could go in 3.0.2 as well as 3.1.
