GCC + Checher

Hi,

Where could I find the right version of Checher for gcc 2.96 ?

Checher 0.9.9.1 breaks on make with :

gcc -c -DGCCCHECKER   -I. -I./l-malloc -I. -I./lib
-I./config/obj-formats -I./config/i386/Linux -O2 -g -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes  ./config/i386/Linux/munmap.c -o munmap.o
./config/i386/Linux/munmap.c: In function `chkr_munmap':
./config/i386/Linux/munmap.c:31: Can't find a register in class `BREG'
while reloading `asm'.
make: *** [munmap.o] Error 1

I'm running Linux Redhat 7.1
with following packages :
gcc-2.96-85
binutils-2.10.91.0.2-3
glibc-devel-2.2.2-10
glibc-common-2.2.2-10
glibc-2.2.2-10
