precompiled headers in gcc 3.1?

Hello,
   I was looking through the information at http://gcc.gnu.org/develop.html
and can't find any details on exact features for particular upcoming
releases. In particular I was wondering when precompiled headers would
be introduced into gcc 3.x. Does anyone know if that has any chance of
making it into gcc 3.1? Thanks in advance for any information.
