Gnu C/C++ and Aix 4.3.3.0

Hello,
I would like to install Gnu C and C++ on AIX 4.3.3.0 . Is GCC 2.95.3
the correct and current Version? To which ANSI C standard (1992/1999?)
does the C Compiler conform to?
