Request for Kernel Cousin GCC

I have just recently join the gcc mailing list and was hoping to drum
up some support for developing a Kernel Cousin of gcc.

I am a long time reader of Kernel Traffic, find it very helpful, and
thought the need for a Kernel Cousin for gcc existed and might be
beneficial.

Is anyone here interested in starting a group-authored version?
