I've been unable to build today, from my checkout on the 3.0 branch.

I've updated twice (last time was about an hour ago) with distcleans in
between and no joy.  I'm not doing anything with the code, just helping
to clean up the bugs database, and I can mostly carry on doing that with
my last successful build (not too many days old), so this isn't a major
problem for me.
