The answer to the last must be in that FAQ.  You must copy all necessary
include files for the target implementation to your target build
directory before running configure.  The gcc source has only the
includes which are supplemental to the ones from the target OS; if your
target is supported, make clean and configure should accomplish the
modifications automatically.
