HPUX

I just got auto-mail from Jeff Law indicating that he is on vacation
until February 12th.

That is very unfortunate for us ... but fortunate for Jeff, perhaps.

There is nothing we can do, so, unless another HPUX volunteer pops up
to solve whatever problems remain, I will branch without HPUX working,
once AIX is working.  Hopefully, the problems will be solved after we
branch.  My understanding is that the problems here are less systemic,
and are more likely to represent simple bugs, rather than the design
issues we ran into on AIX.

If you are willing and able to build on HPUX and track down problems
(probably related to C++ and the V3 library), please let me know as
soon as possible.  Simply being willing to build and test probably
isn't useful -- unless it just works. 

Since I have extensive contacts at HP, I will let HP know that this is
happening.
