FYI: glibc compiliation again broken on i686-linux

I expected that the preprocessed sources are not worth anything since
they do not really add anything.

But no problem here's the bug again in all its glory (including the
output of -v for completeness:

Note that either of the following is a workaround:
- Remove the second "extern int vinit(int);"
- Do not generated dwarf-2 debug info
- Use -O2
