GCC 3.0.3(pre) solaris x mips build failure

This makes the third different&exciting way that libstdc++-v3 has scragged
a 3.0.3(pre) cross build.

Making
	sparc-sun-solaris2.6 x mips64-elf

After make announced it was leaving mips64-elf/libgloss, the log says
	Configuring in mips64-elf/libstdc++-v3

and about 33 references to "libtool" later,

	loading cache ../config.cache within ltconfig
	configure: error: libtool configure failed
	make: *** [configure-target-libstdc++-v3] Error 1

Not much of an error message to go on, given libtool worked the other
times. Suggestions?
