help!

Hi,

I'm having some problems with gcc.  Whenever I try to compile something with 
"g++ -o hello hello.cpp", it outputs

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lm
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Gcc always worked before I tried to upgrade my RedHat7.1 to 7.2.  After 
encountering problems in the installation, I wiped my computer and 
re-installed 7.1.

What can I do to fix my problem?
