"*INTERNAL*" appended to function name bootstrap failure

It's not fixed for me on i686-linux, I did an update 4 hours ago:

$ cat gcc/LAST_UPDATED 
Wed Dec  5 13:40:56 CET 2001
Wed Dec  5 12:40:56 UTC 2001

I'll try again now and will send reports tomorrow,
