3.0.1 as a critical bug fix release including a new platform?

	Acceptance depends on when the "tweaks" were submitted/reviewed
and what files they affect.  The S/390 port was a new drop-in patch which
barely touched the rest of the distribution and was discussed near the
*beginning* of the gcc-3.0.1 cycle.

	As the release date nears, the Release Manager is more
conservative about which patches are accepted.  If you want a patch in
gcc-3.0.2, you need to submit it and get it reviewed *NOW*, not during the
last ciritical month and weeks.
