Problems with m68k - GCC 2.95.3-4

Hello,
I'm not sure, that I'm here at the right adress, but I hope so.

I'm working with GCC 2.95.3-4 on a Milan 060 (68060), a machine on which a
variant of Atari-TOS runs.

GCC 2.95.3-4 seems to have problems with calculating of floating point, if
there occurs in a programm -0.0000. If this value is multiplied by 0.5 the
result is a value like '2.0e32' or a similar great number.
When I use the Hardware-FPU-Code (-m68881) the problems are not there, but with
the soft-floating-point it is there and may cause problems with compiled
programs.

Maybe someone can give me a hint, how to avoid this problem, if I want to use
the GCC without hardware-FPU.

Many thanks in advance
Markus
