Hi folks,

I want to reask the question from noelkeen in 1998:

"hi, i've been using egcs with great satisfaction and results.  i checked the
web page and didn't see anything about any plans for OpenMP support, so
i thought i would try to ask this list:  Are there any future plans for
OpenMP support with gcc and g++?"

As SMP systems and OpenMP has become more popular in the last years:
Is there any plans for OpenMP support in GCC?
Is this an item for http://gcc.gnu.org/projects/
