Install gcc compiler and lidstdc++

Hi,

I'm a first time user on gcc compiler.  The install and build 
informations on the web are for user that familiar with the compiler.

After download gcc compiler verion 2.95.3 and libstdc++-v3, I wasn't 
successful install compiler and build the library.  Especially the 
"make bootstrap" command.  I can't seem to find the path to the 
makefile.

HELP: Can someone please show me axactly step by step to install the 
compiler and build the libstdc++-v3 on Solaris 8?
