cross x86->mips

Hi,

I'm trying to build gcc-2.95.2 on an x86 machine as a cross compiler with
mips-elf as the target platform. I configure it like this:

'../gcc-2.95.2/configure --target=mips --prefix=foo -v'

All goes well.

Then I try to make with:

'make'

...and I get an error stating that 'mips-tfile' can't be found.

I have binutils-2.9 newly compiled and installed.

Any ideas?
