That's odd.  The regression tester (which runs on the mainline on
i686-linux) reports bootstrap success since Apr 3.  You can find its
logfile (which has much greater granularity than the above results)
at < http://www.cygnus.com/~geoffk/gcc-regression/log.txt.gz >.

Hmmm.  I certainly don't get this.  Perhaps some problem with the
binutils?  I am using the one distributed with RH7.
