Incorrect advice about gettext?

Was that 3.0 or 3.1? In any case thanks for reminding me to change
ABOUT-GCC-NLS now that gettext 0.10.36 is out. And the --defines is
bogus as xgettext looks into defines by default. I'll bring my trees up to
date and then check again.
BTW, Mark, IMO we should update the libintl code to that included in gettext
0.10.36. But doing that would also require using the included libintl to
test that it's really working. I'll do that on the mainline and it might
also be good to do it for the 3.0 branch but I'll leave that decision to
you.
