GCC vs CC

Hi,

I'm about to install MQSeries in a Unix system which have both GCC (v2.95.2 from
 GNU) and CC (v3.1 from UDK).

As the source code would need to modify accordingly, I have to go for one or the
 other.

Just wonder is there everyone knows about whether GCC/G++ support the MQSeries
library?
Can anyone comment the pros and cons from their experience between the two?
