Installing GCC

Hello,
	I have recently downloaded GCC-2.95.2.tar.gz to install on a machine
running Redhat Linux 6.2. The problem I am having is I don't find your
installation instructions very clear and I am novice user of Linux. I don't
suppose you have a idiots guide or something like that for the installation?
	So far I have managed to download it and unpack the archieve into a
directory, but after that I am not sure what to do.
