Do I have a bad version of gcc?

I have found problems with this version, it did not compile some
nested if-then-else blocks in some C++ code for Open CASCADE.

It gave an "Internal compiler error" that would go away if I
commented out a nested if-then-else that existed in two
similar files.
I think it is possible to use the gcc suite shipped with RedHat
version 6.2 on your RedHat 7.0 system. (correct me if I'm wrong)
Unless you know of some new feature you can't live without, try that.
