"OImode" ?

I've noticed that a description of BImode and OImode never made it into
the porting manual.  Following the example of "Tetra Integer" which would
we prefer the O of OImode to be:

    1)  Octo  (my guess)
    2)  Octa
    3)  Octal
    4)  Oops-we-didn't-think-we'd-need-one-this-big-ten-years-ago
    5)  ??
