Installing egcs-1.1.2

Hi,

I tried to install egcs-1.1.2 on a SGI IRIX 6.5 machine but without
succes.
I did following like in the INSTALL file:

configure:
%mkdir _objdir_
%cd _objdir_
%_srcdir_/configure _[target]_ _[options]_
And I got the following respons:
% Don't match

I tried this command afterwards:
%./configure
and it failled in the makefile.

What did I do wrong?

What should I do after I unpacked the egcs-1.1.2?

If I kan be helped with some specific commandos then I will be pleased.
