You failed to mention it is Tru64 v5.0.  That was released after GCC
2.95.2, so GCC 2.95.2 doesn't support it.  IIRC, it's just a minor
glitch in gcc/configure{,.in} that detects osf4.* but not 5.*, and
adjusting it to match 5.* is enough.
