That sounds like my position as well.  I'd prefer to have everything
in TeXinfo -- but I have insufficient energy or conviction to make an
issue of it. :-)

I would like to let Gerald make this call; I think his judgement on
the balance between what format people are willing to contribute
changes in, and what format is best overall, is probably sound.
