Formatting of C++ warnings and errors

Nathan,

if I remember correctly, it was you that changed the formatting of
warning/error messages in g++. If yes, is there a way to make g++ check the
current line length, e.g. by doing getenv("COLUMNS")? As my framebuffer
console is 160x64, the messages look a bit funny as they're wrapped at 80
columns.
