new bootstrap error

bootstrap will complete.
With the current top of tree, it aborts.

[ gcc builds past the above point. I didn't wait fot he build to finish. ]

Bootstrap aborts in the same way as before.

./gengenrtl -h >tmp-genrtl.h

I don't know if the failure is in the i386 directory or if it's
elsewhere and merely exposed by the i386 changes. But bootstrap is,
once again, broken....
