linux system exterior interrupt

I have two problems to requir your help.

first,in linux system,is there a exterior trigger interrupt?certainly, the interrupt is spare in linux system.what is interrupt value? how do I write program to deal with this interrupt?

second,in linux system,how do I control buzzer to beep?
