EGCS for sparcv9?

Nope, EGCS did not and never will support Solaris 64bit.  The project
was renamed back to GCC, and the latest stable release, 2.95.2, offers
partial support for sparcv9.  But you'd better not use it yet, it's
still very incomplete, and there are serious, known problems.

I believe the next major release of GCC (2.96, 2.97, 3.0, whatever,
but not 2.95.3) may support it.
