Building libstdc++ on Alpha

Folks --

  It would be really great if someone could help Kenner.  I can't --
because I don't have an alpha, and because I have to go give a talk.
Kenner and I have had a very productive discussion about the new
aliasing code, and he's working hard to make some critical safety
improvements.  I would very much appreciate it if someone with a
similar system could help him track down the problem.
